Molecular structure

Since both Hemp & Marijuana can contain both CBD & THC, here are some comparisons:

  • To be classified as Hemp, a Cannabis plant must have a THC content of 0.3% or less

  • Marijuana is known to have THC levels as high as 25%

  • Hemp has CBD levels that average 3.5% but has been reported to go as high as 20%

  • Marijuana also has CBD levels that can be as high as 20%

*Due to the many varieties, strains and growing conditions of the Cannabis plant, THC & CBD levels can vary substantially.
